The PRSA Portland Metro Chapter looks forward to offering 2016 Communicators Conference attendees an enriching day of unparalleled professional development opportunities! With presenters ranging from a TEDx Coach to a one-of-a-kind Brand Anthropologist (a “brandthologist”?), the Communicators Conference is sure to be a day of unforgettable knowledge sharing and community.
Nine dynamic breakout sessions will accompany two top-knotch keynote presentations to ignite participants’ enthusiasm for the ever-evolving public relations profession. This year, members of the community were invited to submit proposals for conference presentations and a committee convened to select the presenters.
The committee sought to offer a balanced selection of educational programs by selecting proposals that would best meet the needs and requests of Chapter membership and by selecting presenters whose proposals best fit with the conference theme – Inside Out: Bridging the Storytelling Gap Between Internal and External Communications. Presentations that included practical, immediately applicable work tools were given preference, as well as those that provided attendees with information that will improve their effectiveness on the job. The committee also sought experienced presenters with proven speaking ability.
Striving to offer attendees with the best possible experience and professional development opportunities, eleven sessions were selected. Be sure to check out the 2016 Communicators Conference speaker pages, and we hope to see you on May 2nd!
